Summary of the November 13 2024 General Meeting

General Information
Instead of a December general meeting we will be hosting a holiday social.
CUPE Holiday Party
- When: Thursday December 12, 2024 at 4:30 PM to 7pm
- Where: TRUSU Lecture Hall
- There will be food and drinks. Possible karaoke and games
- Last chance to enter the Grand Prize draw for $500 Visa Card (members from Kamloops and Williams Lake, who have attended the CUPE BBQ and previous meetings since September 2024 will also be eligible).
Storm Hockey Teddy Bear Toss Night
- When: December 7, 2024 at MacArthur Island Sports Centre
- Sponsored by KDLC and affiliates
- There will be some free tickets for CUPE 4879 members. If you are interested, contact the CUPE office and we will get add your name to the list.
- Bring a non-perishable food item to the event for a chance to enter for a $200 GC and other prizes at the event.
Holiday Charity Donations
CUPE 4879 on behalf of its members will donate $200 to the following 10 charities for a total of $2000:

Scholarships
- Reminder the Bursary deadline is January 17, 2025. We have 3 undergraduate and 1 graduate bursary for $1000 each. Contact cupe4879@shaw.ca for the forms to apply and information on eligibility for members and family members.
