With a record number of applications received for this year’s CUPE 4879 Scholarship Awards, the Education Committee selected four outstanding recipients: Academic student Arsal Sheikh (child of CUPE member Zahid Sheikh), Academic student Ananya Kamboj (CUPE member), Trade student Joel Verhoeff (child of CUPE members Dave & Sandra Verhoeff) and our winner pursuing Graduate Studies Lex Edwards (CUPE member).
